American Anesthesiology of Georgia (AAGA), formerly known as Georgia Perioperative Consultants, is a single specialty group which provides 24/7 in-house anesthesia coverage at Piedmont Hospital and Fayette Community Hospital. We also provide anesthesia services at several free-standing outpatient facilities including Piedmont West Surgery Center, Peachtree Orthopaedic Clinic, Southern Orthopaedic Surgery Center at Fayette, and Georgia Surgical Center on Peachtree. Our group consists of anesthesiologists, physician assistants, certified registered nurse anesthetists and nurses. We represent a broad range of specialty and subspecialty interests, including cardiovascular anesthesia, regional anesthesia, intensive care, pain management, neuroanesthesia, pediatric anesthesia and obstetrical anesthesia. Our physicians are board certified in anesthesiology; some have received additional board certification in specialties including pain management, intensive care, internal medicine and pediatrics. |
